I am up and grooving from the very first moment of this song! It has an exciting and stimulating sound from the first note of the composition and it never relents or betrays what it sets out to do. The song has a very catchy musicality and the instrumentation is used to create a fun tempo that opens up into a catchy beat, and an even more memorable melody. The vocals come in to entertain me, and they coincide perfectly with the tempo, melody and instrumentation and I love the chemistry that exists, and I would not change that. Chemistry can take this artist a long way. I love the production quality of the song, and how even though some elements of the song are in your face the acoustics are fantastic and the vocals and instrumentation are never competing with one another. The lyrics do not have a tremendous amount of depth but they are fun, attention grabbing and fit the overall tone and identity of the composition. I think this song could be huge on national and international radio markets on pop and top 40 radio and with younger and older fan bases. I loved it and cannot wait to find out who the artist is so I can hear more from them!
The singer has a great, deep voice. Somehow this song gives a kind of sublime, mysterious feeling. Fantastic electronic sounds with a lot of variety but at the same time, the same underlying theme. Could not find anything wrong with it, in fact, this song gives off a wonderful feeling. Definitely a 10.
This song had an otherworldly quality that made this song truly captivating. I love the use of ambient digital effects with this singers edgy voice! The vocal had an impressive pitch range and really brought this song to life. I especially liked the way the guitar was present in this song but didn't over power the other effects. The lyrics were unfortunately hard to hear but they still sounded imaginative. I think this was an all around creative song that at times had an almost psychedelic flavor to it that made it truly memorable.
I really like this song! The slow, smooth, unnatural drums really impressed me! Then when the horns came in it was just a ride for me! The vocalist had a beautiful voice that fit the instrumental well, and I bet she would give a lovely live performance. The guitars threw me off at first, but then I realized how different it was, and I started to enjoy it much more! Amazing song, I would definitely look into this artist!
This song begins with a really cool drum beat, one that really helps to complement the tempo of this arrangement! I really love how gracious and intuitive this band is being about gently guiding the audience into this arrangement; it really is showing very clearly, that this band really knows how to please its audience! I really am loving the tone of the bassist in this track, he plays with a type of tone that is really complementing the rest of the musicians in this track extremely well! Keep working hard guys, you are really doing some amazing thing, both in terms of your rhythms as well as your harmonic and melodic work! The varied and diverse instrumentation is really adding a great deal to this piece and its exotic presentation! This probably won't go over well with mainstream audiences, yet I feel it is really good nonetheless!
Very pretty vocals. Love the deep voice on the notes. The harmony was great. I really loved all the different horns and sound effects in the bacground. It was a great blend and made the soong more interesting. I did not like the bridge she did. But she could perform real good live it sounds like.
In my opinion, the song definitely have potential to it, but as it is right now, it is in need of a few touch up done to it, to make it better. The artist have a soothing and beauteous tone to his vocal, the low to high vocal range is meaningful and have a moving appeal to the melody. The melody of the track is simplistic, which is allusive and only show case the vocal ability of the song.
Range of vocalist was surprising. Lows were deep and highs didn't crack. Music had a soothing tone. Liked the extra bass notes at mid song, added a depth before re-entry of singer. The build up and descends of song were done without interruption. Pleasing to the ear.
This track conjurers up images of a smoky club, not that they have these anymore. There is a certain mood created by the beat, the distant horn effect and the keyboards that is distinct to this track, though does give the track a bit of a Parisian feel. The vocals are ok, reminds me a bit of Sade in places, the mixing does leave a lot to be desired though and this needs tidying up, though the off beat feel was done in the 80's several times. A track with potential but it needs some production work.
More foreign music. kind of has an opera feel to the style of music and the way she sings parts of the song. The music is kind of bizarre sounding. Never heard anything quite like some of it. She has a real strong voice. I just think I would like to see more of a consistent flow in the way she sings in this song. I think this music is more of an acquired taste. The words sound lovely, though. I can't understand them but she really gets up their on some the notes. The song is recorded well. No technical flaws that I can hear. Another song that sounds good for movie, shows.
The ambient first impression comes with a rather different follow up, and the non-English lyrics is just one of those elements that give a slightly confusing touch to this song. The instrumental line up tries to find some sort of balance between a rhythmic and an ambient approach, which makes the experience a bit weird and sound plastic in the end. I won't say that there's no creative approach involved in this concept, but let's just say, that even if I could understand what the song is about, it would be hard to piece together the line up, and think of it as an interesting performance. This song is way into the abstract with everything, and that includes the vocal performance as well, with or without the lyrics.
There is a very illuminating brand of singer here. This is a voice that is really in great tone of voice, has perfect pitch and really has depth to the way she presents this song. The lyrics are genuine and pure. the music to this has a very reflective sound, easy and smooth. a gifted and attractive performance.
The beat is slow and steady to start with, it progresses well. The women's vocals are very seductive and sassy however I dont think the style of her voice matches the style of the backing music, although I do like the variety of different instruments I can hear they are zany and brave to use such a range of different sharp and low sounds. I think also the long pauses without any vocals are actually quite boring parts in the song, a way to improve those parts would be for the beat to go more up-tempo and energetic but instead it stays the same and steady, if they mixed it up more it may make the song more exciting and fun to listen too.
The song began with a nice deep beat that was accompanied by a clicking sound. It made me think of water and wood. The voice of the singer was deep. However, then it sounded like she hit a really high note. I was not sure though. The tune stayed gentle and the tempo did not seem to change at all. I could then hear a very deep guitar join in. It sounded like security being breached.
Wow this song really gives off a chill vibe. I love the melody and the way the drums really set the pace. The singer has an amazing voice and she does a great job of harmonizing with the rest of the song. The guitar adds an otherworldly quality to this song that really gives it character. I think it could use some more lyrics. There are long periods of time with no singing, aside from that this was a good song.
Not great with foreign language songs. French maybe. The music is good, well distributed and interesting. But I don't know what genre or what country or what she's singing about. Too slow and maybe popular somewhere.
This is a song that has a sound that is interesting in a vague way. The vocals are different. The music creates an auditory sound that is beautiful and unique. The singer has a opera like voice that is really exceptional. The lyrics are in another language yet still sound very good. Her voice is very enchanting.
Great voice this woman is so gifted i really like this song too. It was sweet and had a nice harmony. Overall the elements here were really eery and then again really high in quality.
Exotic sounding piece with some interesting instrumental accents. Even though I couldn't understand the lyrics, the vocalist had a pleasing voice and showed some range that was impressive. At times during the track the instrumental and vocals came together in a soothing way almost like one instrument. Some good variety in beat but there could have been more to the lyrics as they seemed a little repetitive. Overall a very interesting piece of foreign music!
Interesting background sounds. I didn't understand the lyrics, so I can't rate it on content. The beat was nice, though. A song that had some potential and great beat, but I didn't understand it. Doesn't mean that I wouldn't dance to it, though.
The introduction seams somewhat short. The overall mix is relatively low in volume compared to other tracks/todays benchmark. The beginning is quite good and the different sounds complement each other well. Later there are some timbres that don'e interact so well and the track has some confusion with personality or genre. It gets to thin in the middle with only one instrumental line or sound happening. It recovers after this so maybe this mid sections just needs a little more attention or work. The delivery of the vocalist varies but it very good in the middle of the track. The track is very cinematic and does have some nice interacting harmony towards the end.
French. I wish I knew the language to understand what they are saying. But it also sounds mysterious and cool... a spanish dancing thingy song? I seriously wish I knew what the lyrics for this song was cause I am usually all about foreign music!
This song has a 70s vibe to me. The beat reminds me of a Prince intro as well. The snares need to be placed better in my opinion. They seem to randomly placed. Keeping it basic would work well for this song. The vocalist is also pretty good i must say. Her voice also gives me a classic vibe. I could picture hearing this song on VH1 Classics. The vibe is also very chill and relaxing. The electric guitar might be too much for the tracks vibe as well.
Nice smooth entry, and great voice along with it. I sadly can't understand what is being said with lyrics. The use of brass instruments and electronic piano is a great additive. The female vocals can be a bit more tuned with the song. A lot of excess background sounds (more than likely used as chorus') are not needed, they add a sense of "too much use" and cause an off tone to the song.
The vocals remind me of opera, though the melody in the background is quite the opposite. It is ethereal at times, and at other times it gives off a rock sort of vibe. This song seems to be all over the place and I'm not exactly sure what it's trying to do, but I like it. This vocalist is obviously talented and I would love to hear more of her work because I'm not sure what to expect.
I love the low base in the song. I also enjoy the guitar riff and the drums. The Drums have a very nice beat. Though I did not like the break in the song when there was no singing. I thought the singers voice was beautiful.
